Sewing For Money + Flea Market Finds

Behold my latest shirt, made for a male client. I love this plaid fabric, which my client actually purchased himself and brought to me, unusual in my business thus far.

Flea Market Finds + New Fabric, New Friends, New Pattern!

Do you use a chalk wheel, readers? I never have but I've always been curious about them. I found this red one at the flea market today in a pile of old sewing notions and now it's mine. I'm very excited to try it.

More Comic Book Bathos + Michael Wears the Shirt -- BETTER THAN I DO!

I can't deny it: Michael looks better in this purple gingham/floral shirt than I do. Is it his skin tone? His blue eyes? His grayish hair? Therefore I have decided to let him have it. How frustrating!
