The surviving cast members of
Petticoat Junction
And so many more.
As has become a tradition here at
MPB, I have a very special pattern giveaway for you on this very special day. It's the beautiful
Vintage Vogue repro 1948 pattern, V2787, in a (contemporary) size 12-14-16 (34", 36", 38" bust). The pattern is complete and uncut.
Isn't it dreamy?
Can you name these two lovely bloggettes in their own versions?
MPB readers the world over are eligible for this giveaway, and all you have to do is leave a comment below. Please share your favorite kind of pie, most inspiring
MPB moment of last year, or just let off steam. (If you want to say hi but don't want the pattern, just let me know.)

Happy Blogiversary Peter! My favourite pie is apple pie - as made by my Grandma :)
ReplyDeleteI want that pattern!!!!
ReplyDeleteChocolate cream pie!
ooh my favorite pie is French Silk! Living back in the hills I've had to learn to make it myself or do without. My favorite parts of the blog? hmmm...Cathy's unveilings & how-to where the sewing books are long on words and short on pictures.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!
My favorite is chicken pot pie.
ReplyDeleteI love that pattern! I'm quite partial to Laura's version. And pie, I do love some good tart-sweet apple pie.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogaversary, who knows how to spell that! I love your blog, but don't need the pattern thanks, I have it already eek!
ReplyDeleteHappy blogiversary! And I love that pattern, so I'm in :) (Yes, I may have a pattern problem...)
ReplyDeleteI love a nice tart cherry pie. Happy no 2.
ReplyDeleteI am currently warming up my cookie dough pie. Warmed with vanilla ice cream, delish.
ReplyDeleteHappy Bloggerversary! How did I miss knowing about a National Pie Day??!! I'm off to remedy that; there's many quarts of hand picked Morello and Balaton pie cherries in my freezer, altho' the black raspberries and apples may put up a good counter initiative! 2 pies are better than one!!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm piiiiieeeee.....
ReplyDeleteCouple faves, French silk and coconut cream top the list.
What a fabulous pattern! Would love to own it :)
ReplyDeleteAnd my favorite pie is a simple home made apple pie. I adore the smell of it while it's still baking. And the simplicity of it's taste is just adorable :)
Happy anniversary! Mmm. Pie. Thanks for all your edutainment and inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary! Favourite Pie? Classic apple for me. Thanks for the giveaway - love the dress.
ReplyDeletePie day? Lets hope that my brothers don't know, or I have to go make a pie and I don't have the time! I think my favorite would have to be raspberry rhubarb pie. Tart and yummy!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on year 2! Pie is like heaven! Pumpkin, Pecan & Coconut Cream are my favs!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary! Favorite pie? That's a tough one, as I like most of them... probably black raspberry or cinnamon pie, something my German grandmother made with leftover pie crust. I've had that pattern on my list for several months; I'd love to have it....
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversity, have to say I'm not a huge fan of sweet pies but love home made steak and ale pie.mmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteYour blogging produces a lot of gems, but this continues to be one of my favorites:
ReplyDeletehttp://malepatternboldness.blogspot.com/2011/02/shirt-free-friday-parrot-video.html
It was when I first learned about your talent as a performer! Happy anniversary! (and strawberry rhubarb pie for me, please)
I went to see the parrot video, but the link is gone on my computer. :(
Deleteohhh! On the sweet side: Lemon, strawberry, apple. Savory: chicken pot pie, country ham pie. Congrats on your terrible twos!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can tell that I'm British because my favourite pie by far and away is steam and kidney pie - lovely! here's to many more years to come on your fab blog!
ReplyDeletelove the blog--check it daily. Pie favourite is rhubarb and apple-very English -like me.
DeleteWait, do they even HAVE fruit pies in the UK? Or are they called tarts?
DeleteIn the uk, you CAN have fruit tarts, but these generally don't have a pastry top, or if they do it's latticed. We definitely have fruit pies!
DeleteJust saying hi -- Happy second blogoversary! Personally, I like Key Lime.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 2 years! There's been so many good moments in the last year - Cathy's rose dress, your leopard pants, several sew alongs, talk about the intersection of fashion and age, and of course, tangerine tango. ;-)
ReplyDeleteNo need to enter me in the give away (I fear it would never be sewn in my hands). But my-oh-my doesn't Trina look super vampy in this dress!?!?
Many happy returns!
ps- I could never decide which pie I like best, but the short list includes pecan, pumpkin and blueberry-peach.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the Slapdash Sewist? And of course Laura Mae. I DO love this pattern. It's been on my wish list for a while.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite pie is vegetable pot pie made with barley and red lentils. I use butter in my pastry instead of shortening or anything, ahem, unsavoury. Don't get me wrong, fruit pies are amazing, but a savoury vegetable pie, in the autumn as I'm bringing everything in from the garden before frost, is sublime.
Congrats on turning two!
incidentally, I'm making cabbage and potato pie for dinner tonight, but I'm not sure it counts as it doesn't have a crust. Pretty good, though, on a balmy, grey, January day.
DeleteCorrect! Bonus points for you, Sondra.
DeleteHooray for me for spending too much time on the interwebs!
DeleteDo I get the pattern??
A very happy 2nd anniversary to you Peter. My favourite MPB moment of the year was seeing your Ken doll in tight jeans and a sombrero. My favourite pie has to be steak and kidney...mmmm...pie. x
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I must say, the parrot video is one of my faves along with the video of the dogs on the treadmill. And, of course, Cathy.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is a delicious, sweet/tart cherry pie!
Happy Birthday! I'm a big savoury pie fan. Pieminister in the UK make some AMAZING pies, but their Heidi Pie is my favourite. Goats cheese, red onion, sweet potato....yum...
ReplyDeletehttp://pieminister.co.uk/pies/pm-originals/
Julia xx
OMG! I must have this recipe! The link only tells me where I can buy it. I will search the webs. I will find it. Thanks for the tip!
DeleteAaah, so now you've bribed me and I have to confess, I've been creeping your blog for 6 months now, like a deranged sewing addict in need of some sewing humour and wit.
ReplyDeleteFavorite pie is cherry pie! Ooh so so so yum.
I have a deep relationship with pie as I was engaged to the husbie on March 14th (3.14, the real pie day, math nerds would argue). We then served pie at our wedding instead of a cake and I learned then that my favorite is peach hazelnut pie!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blog Birthday :)
I actually have this pattern, so no need to enter me in the contest. Both Trena and Laura May look fantastic in their versions.
ReplyDeletePie favorite is a toss up between apple and my mom's pecan pie (but only my mom's!)
Happy Bloggerversery, Peter. I'll have a glass of wine in your honor.
Congrats on your two years!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pie is Olallieberry!
no need for the pattern, but had to chime in with a sincere congrats. Know that you bring enjoyment to a lot of people with your blog. First thing I check in the morning.
ReplyDeleteFave pie---Pecan...I AM from Texas after all
Many congratulations on your second year of existence! I trust that you will regale us with stories and sewing savvy for many more.
ReplyDeleteAnd please, make mine tart cherry or lemon meringue.
OMG..I forgot to add bourbon whipped cream on that pecan pie....and My bday is March 14th and I never even thought about it equaling pi until mentioned in your comments. Thanks CandaceClay--as for a fave moment from 2011. Leopard pants!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your work! This has quickly become one of my favorite blogs. That pattern is fabulous, as is this blood orange tart;http://smittenkitchen.com/wp-comments-post.php (pies give me trouble).
ReplyDeleteCheers.
Wrong link - http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/01/flaky-blood-orange-tart/ this is good stuff :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pie is my Mom's Custard Pie. My favorite MPB moment was your find on the street at Christmas. My personal favorite moment was discovering you in Vogue. You've inspired me to try challenging patterns and buy sewing machines. I had 2 fine machines: a 10-month old Viking and a 5-year old Viking. I have a serger too. But since your article, I've purchased 2 old Singers (a Featherweight and a 15-91) and 3 old toy Singers.
ReplyDeleteI would love the pattern!
Happy blog anniversary! I think my favorite pie is shoofly pie. But I love all pie, so you'd see me happy with any slice.
ReplyDeleteHello-congratulations on being two. Apple and blackberry pie is my favourite...
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on two years of a thoroughly enjoyable blog.
ReplyDeleteLike my namesake, I do enjoy a good savory pie. I've been known to make a tasty crawfish pie.
The drawing pattern isn't my size, so if perchance I were to win the drawing, please send it to my Sondra namesake.
Hi Sondra! Nice to see you here!
DeleteHappy blogoversary! I've been meaning to say thank you on behalf of my boyfriend for the boxers sewalong!
ReplyDeleteI think I also have to be stereotypically British and admit that my favourite pie is Steak and Kidney (although I'm Northern, so actually, I prefer a steak and kidney pudding - this is NOT a dessert - in the UK it's a pudding when you use suet pastry, whether sweet or savoury).
I LOVE that pattern - I've been coveting it since I saw the Sew Convert's version here:http://sewconvert.wordpress.com/2012/01/04/the-christmas-new-year-surprise-winner-fabric-shopping-in-hk/
The first bloggette I've been reading for several years! The very own 'NiceGirl' from the 'Slapdash Sewsit' blog ~ I read her reviews first at Pattern Review as NiceGirl. The next bloggette is more recent for me, probably a pick up off your blog, which was a pick up off Ms Debbie Cook ~ she is Laura Mae from Lilacs & Lace! Yeah I am so excited I knew those faces :-D
ReplyDeletePie - Pie -Me oh my
Nothing tastes sweet, wet, salty and dry
all at once o well it's pie
Apple! Pumpkin! Minced an' wet bottom.
Come to your place everyday if you've got em'
Pie - Me o my - I love pie
(Love that movie ;-) ... my favorite is Lemon Meringue
I would love to have this pattern - and my favorite pie of the moment is custard - but key lime ranks pretty high on the list as well.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!!!
Blessings,
Patti
Happy blogoversary!
ReplyDeleteMa tarte préférée est aux pacanes ... Mhhh!
I love the model of this dress :-)
Happy blogaversary! It seems like so much longer than 2 years.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of pie crust so (to my boyfriend's horror) I just eat the stuff out of the middle. I do, however, enjoy turkey pot pie and shepherd's pie.
Love that pattern, and my favs are deep dish dutch apple and pumpkin and pecan and oh heck just pass the pie dish over here.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Your blog makes my day! As a cooking professional with a specialty in dessert, I don't know how the heck I've missed National Pie Day. Thanks for sharing. My favorite is Butterscotch Meringue. As for the pattern, I have it and the dress is on the dress form waiting to be hemmed. I hope mine looks as good as your pix! Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteHappy 2nd blogiversary! Banoffee Pie is the best.
ReplyDeleteI had to Google that one! Sounds yummy...
DeleteI had to Google it too, I was kind of hoping it would be some combination of bananas and coffee or mocha. Oh well, maybe I'll make one up to suit me.
DeleteThe recipe I have is a graham cracker crumb base, melted caramels, bananas and coffee flavored sweetened whipped cream. I get a sugar rush just thinking about it. It almost works for you.
Delete.¸.•*¨)Happy Blogoversary!¸.•*¨)
ReplyDelete¸.•*¨ ¸. To many more! •*¸.•*¨
My favorite Pie must be Fresh Georgia Peach, à la mode of course! Brings thoughts of hot summer evenings, swimming, fishing ponds, fireflies, and joyful laughs of childhood.
Cheers!
I loved the ditching! It has helped inspire 2012 being the year of the purge in my house! Thank you for the giveaway- it's a gorgeous pattern!
ReplyDeleteYAY! Happy blogiversary, happy blogiversary, happy blogiversary....HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY! don't count me in for the giveaway as I already have this pattern but I wanted to say that I just love your blog and am looking forward to another fabulous year! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to you! My favorite blog post is the one I first reads out a month ago. I've no idea anymore what it was just that I love you voice and dolls.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I just started reading around New Year's when looking for ideas on sewing my husband some clothes.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pie is Peanut Butter!
Hey Peter - happy anniversary!!!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog last year when I started sewing vintage myself, and reading your blog is so entertaining :) One of my favourites (there have been many) was when you bought a vintage muff and made some comment along the lines of 'want to see my muff' I laughed so loud my fiance wanted to know what was so funny, and then I had to explain the whole thing :)
My favourite type of pie since I am Australian is a good old fashioned chunky beef pie. But you have to eat it with tomato sauce (ie ketchup) or its just not the same. Some may go a step further and label you 'un-Australian' if you eat your pie without sauce.
Looking forward to many more blog posts to come :)
Beccie
Congratulations! I've been loving this blog! It lights up my day!
ReplyDeleteI'd love that pattern, it would look so good on me...if I ever made that is.
My favorite pie is my homemade peach/mango with a touch of banana to sweeten it, in a buttery pastry crust. MMMMMMMMMgood!
Make mine pumpkin, with graham cracker crust! Happy anniversary, and thanks especially for the thoughtful observations on the pains of modern shopping. Cheers me up as a former city dweller... also thanks for the rapturous support of vintage machines. You inspired me to take mine to the mechanic for cleaning etc., and to appreciate its unused potential.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary Peter!! I read your blog just about every day and always end up laughing out loud at something you write. And I've become obsessed with my disappearing eyebrows since reading your post on eyebrows :) My favorite pie is blueberry, preferably with vanilla ice cream!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I just love my granny smith apple with a big chunk of melted sharp cheddar cheese on top - and a litttle grand manier in the mix - found your blog in my vogue pattern mag. which I purchase for the first time. I too, am teaching my self to sew. thanks
ReplyDeleteHappy second anniversary - I'm only at second-month-versary. I do recognise both bloggers and love the dress. Pie ... mmmm ... sweet is lemon meringue and savoury is steak and kidney.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogiversary. Favorite pie is sour cream raisin.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! It's been great fun following your blog, keep up the good work! I know it's rude, but I have to correct you though... As a math teacher, we celebrate Pi Day on March 14 (3.14, get it?)
ReplyDeleteYou have my gratitude for all your hard work on our behalf. Thanks to you, I've finally worked up the nerve to try to use my late grandmother's Singer model 27 from 1909. Continued happiness and success to you and yours, Peter.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I love crumbly cinnamon apple pie. Yum!
ReplyDeleteLovely pattern!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary Peter/MPB/Cathy!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite pie is mince & potato topped pie (Shepherd's) & my favourite tart (what you call pie) is citrus/lime. YUM YUM YUM
There is much to be thankful for in the world and MPB is one of those things that has been a positive addition to my life. I love waking up 5 mornings a week knowing there will most likely be a blog post to read that will be informative, funny and make me think. Every now and again the laughter is accompanied by snorting liquid from my nose on to my laptop screen - the parrot puppet & song video comes to mind here LMAO
Your blog inspired me to find out about my mum's Class 15 Japanese Clone sewing machine that she gave me and then go even further and buy other vintage sewing machines.
Without inspiration from you Peter, I would have never known my favourite sewing machine of all time would end up being a Singer 1948 201 treadle!!
A special mention must go to, your identical cousin ,Cathy who has inspired me to think about sewing up some of the vintage patterns i have, to wear. I don't kid myself that i will ever look as stunning as she does in her vintage/retro wear but never-the-less one day soon i'll be sporting the vintage/retro look i so enjoy.
Happy Anniversary! it's been a fun journey so far xx
I love apple crumb pie. You inspired me with your jeans sew along last year. It was a great learning opportunity. Happy second anniversary!
ReplyDeleteHappyAnniversary! Is that rhubarb? Gotta say my favorite pie ever experienced is very specific--the rich blueberry pie from Wimberley Pie Company in Wimberley, Texas. It makes me drool thinking about it. I can bake but I will never achieve its greatness. (No need to enter me in the giveaway, though!)
ReplyDeleteThat last photo really makes me wish I were there with you, having a glass of wine.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary! Love Pecan Pie. Your writing about vintage sewing machines is without a doubt the most inspiring to me as I now own a older but perfect Kenmore model 158 (with 1.2 amp motor) which sews like a dream and runs circles around my 'cost like a mortgage payment Elna'. Thanks for being such a good teacher, and thanks for this opportunity to win!
ReplyDeleteHappy second Anniversary! My favourite pie is just a simple apple pie.
ReplyDeleteSome months ago I found your blog and from the beginning I love it! Mostly I love how things turne out of the view of a man sewer. Sometimes it´s quite different of a woman´s. (I hope you understand what I mean). I have learned a lot from your sewings.
The giveaway pattern is really dreamy! I wish I will have the luck to win it! Thank you so much for the chance!
LG from Germany
Angie
I can't believe it's been two years. I've learned to sew along with you. Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteOur favorite pie is peapple ( peach and apple). It started as a joke, but it's quite good.
We drink "crapple" (cranberry juice and apple cider), perhaps that could served to wash down your peapple pie?
DeleteI have been coveting that patterne for awhile. And it comes in my size. it's destined for me to win. My favorite pie is apple. Happy 2nd year to your blog.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful dress pattern, Peter.
ReplyDeleteAnd a grand way to celebrate your second year of blogging.
I love the idea of Pi Day! So clever!
Sam
Happy 2nd blogiversary!
ReplyDeleteFavourite pie? Gotta be ultra-creamy pumpkin (don't hold back on the cream, maple syrup, cinnamon and allspice).
Most inspiring MPB moment? Your beady-eyed discovery of that Singer 221 table in the trash and its subsequent revamp. I'm supposed to be dejunking so enjoyed it entirely vicariously. Thank you.
Favorite Pie? Good question. I'm not sure I've met a pie I haven't liked. Among the favorites: Apple, Pumpkin, Chocolate (!) and Blueberry.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 2 years!!
And I love, love, Love the dress pattern!
Happy Anniversary Peter, 2 years and getting better by the day!
ReplyDeleteHomemade pie made from windfall apple and hand picked wild blackberries has to be my favourite. Frugal and delicious, nothing tastes better than something which is made with so little cost!
I love this pattern and I love your blog. You keep me amused and inspired. Congratulations on 2 years! At this moment I am eating spinach and fetta pie a la Jamie Oliver and simultaneously trying to keep cool here in 40 degrees. My air conditioned sewing room replete with 30 year old Bernina 130 beckons!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! What a lovely pattern. My favorite pie apple cherry, or chocolate. :)
ReplyDeleteAdkicks@aol.com
Happy Blogiversary, Peter! Even though I could've sworn that March 14 was pie... oops, pi day... ;) I like a good pecan pie. Or apple, with vanilla ice cream. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! My favourite pie is Chicken and Asparagus. I'd never heard of most of these pies, some make my teeth ache at the very thought of all that sugar. I think the pattern is lovely.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! Cherry pie....mmmmmm!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Peter! Wow, 2 years already?? And such a nice way to celebrate! I've been eyeballing that pattern for quite some time, trying to figure out how to draft it :P Alas, my drafting skills are still quite rudimentary...
ReplyDeleteMy favourite pie is apple crumble, which is more like a pudding-cake, because the graham crust is on top of the filling :P
Looks like Laura Mae from Lilacs and Lace and... is the other the Slapdash Sewist?
ReplyDeleteSeems like no-one else has gone for the pork pie yet. Greatest of all the pies.
Thanks!
Happy Blogaversary! Maybe it sounds boring, but I love a good tart apple pie.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteI like Lemon Meringue pie, and Cathy's pink coat...
Happy 2nd!
ReplyDeleteI love mixed berry, and I love the rose print dress Cathy wore to Priscilla!
Peter,
ReplyDeleteYou've changed the blogosphere just by opening your pie hole.
2 years later, there are legions of us who can NOT function without MPB; the ireverant topics, giveaways, sewing tips, the comments from others, daily ditchings, and on special occasions photos of your dogs.
Congratulations on 2 wonderful years, and wishing your MANY more.
As for pie, can I admit to being a bit of a cad, and enjoying them all?
Congratulations! Is it weird that I don't like the word blogaversary?! And I don't like pies either... (Or maybe we Europeans just aren't able to make a good pie?) I guess now you all think I'm a party pooper, BUT i do like the pattern. In fact I love it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary, Peter!!! So much inspiration in so little time!
ReplyDeleteFavorite Pie: Apple
Most inspiring MPB moment of last year: Hard to pin down, as there are so many to choose from. Kathy’s vintage-style rose dress with the crinoline was truly inspired -- and inspiring. The parrot video was wonderfully funny. I had a great time at MPB Day!
Congratulations, Peter. I hope you have had a great two years with the blog. I have really enjoyed it. I love the pattern and pie of all sorts. I guess my favorite would be apple or maybe coconut cream.
ReplyDeleteMPB is not liable for any illness, injury, disability.....blah, blah, blah..... Awwwww - you're no fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I'm a relative newcomer here, but you have definitely inspired me to continue my own "ditching."
ReplyDeletePicking only one favorite pie is like choosing only one inspiring Male Patten Boldness blog. However, nothing says love like a simple grits pie.
Happy Anniversary! Why is one of your buttons unbuttoned in that last photo?
ReplyDeleteOh how time flies- happy birthday MPB! just when you might think you don't have room for another slice of pie lemon meringue goes down soo easy. and I would love that pattern!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
Happy anniversay MPB! I was very "anti-blog reading" until I discovered you this summer. Keep up the great posts and sewing. I'd love to be enetered in the pattern giveaway;)
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteI do like that pattern you are giving away and it's the right size. Double yay!
Savoury pie has to be my mom's tourtiere. She only makes one batch in December, a pie for Christmas eve and maybe two more for later meals. It's heavenly probably because I get it so rarely.
Sweet pies though... I'm a sucker for cherry and blueberry. Oh, but I did have a lovely Saskatoon berry pie in Manitoba (http://www.ladyofthelake.ca/) last year. That was a memorable pie.
my favorite pie is lemon meringue. my favorite MPB moment is your creepy giant doll acquisition. and I mean that in the nicest way, she's awesome. Please enter me in your giveaway, I was just considering buying that one despite my "no more spending until you make something" rule.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! MMM, love that pattern and love pie. I love almost any kind of fruit pie, but key lime is probably my favorite. That, or my grandmother's cheese pie (not to be confused with cheesecake, but similar).
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love French Canadian tortierre which is a pork pie.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Mac Pie, made my the Mac Pie Company in Hilo, Hawaii, is my FAVE. I may or may not have ordered it before to be delivered to my home. The chocolate chip filling is the best!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteHomemade is the best kind of pie. Preferably with a blind-baked shortcrust base. I like the tart and sweet combination - so one made with proper cooking apples is probably my favourite. Adding rhubarb, or cherries to them, or adding salted caramel sauce is a great way to never tire of the apple filling.
A pie a day keeps the doctor away?
I'm the token vegan in the group so any vegan pie is AOK with me. But really what I want is that pattern! Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary. I love your Novellas best of all...well they are a tie with...love the daily blog...always captivating.
ReplyDeleteFav Pie: Buttermilk Pie...Yum from the Dutch Kitchen. But the recipe is a secret...probably why it is so good.
Happy blog anniversary! So glad that you keep on dispensing regular wit and wisdom and inspiration!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pie is either cherry or pecan. If I had to choose...that's a choice I don't want to have to make right now!
I do love that Vogue pattern, too. Just gorgeous!
Happy Anniversary MPB! I discovered your blog this year, and it's always entertaining and enlightening!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pie is definitely cherry - and I loved reading about the Daily Ditch earlier this year!
Happy anniversary! No need to enter me in the draw, just wanted to say Mazel Tov :)
ReplyDeleteHappy 2nd birthday/anniversary! I have so enjoyed reading your blog - brings a smile to my day every time.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pie is blueberry with a streudel topping - delicious! (especially cold, for breakfast)
Happy Anniversary Mr. Lappin! This is what happens when I am behind on my blog reading – I miss important announcements. Congrats! And may there be many more blogging years to come for a fabulous, witty, and wonderfully snarky individual. Who knew a toddler could have such an amazing grasp of cultural phenomena and sewing knowledge?!
ReplyDeleteLove pie, and LOVE that pattern!
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary.
hmmm pie? not quite, but I had a slice of rather nice "tim tam cheesecake" today while out antique shopping. If you don't know what Tim Tams are, you are REALLY missing out! And if you do, a hearty "Oi! Oi! Oi!" for Australia Day to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I'm so happy to have found your blog and I wish you many many more!
ReplyDeleteLots of Love,
Su
