Listen to My Podcast Interview!

Friends, I'm thrilled to share with you a podcast interview that Sandi Hazlewood, who runs the excellent Crafty Planner blog, recently did with me.

Among other things you'll learn how I taught myself to sew, the origin of MPB Day, and when I was born -- not 1984 as is commonly believed.

You can tune into it here.  And do check out Sandi's other podcasts here.

Enjoy and have a great day, everybody!

  1. I really enjoyed this interview. I was particularly interested to hear your reflections on the evolution of male clothing patterns and their effect on home sewers.

  2. Hmm, for some reason I thought you were born close to my birthday - 1964. I'll listen and find out if I was correct :)

  5. I enjoyed the podcast so much, Peter. I've been a silent admirer for many years; now even moreso as we were born in the same year. Your calm and happy personality came through in this interview. Hope to make it to MPB day this year and meet you in person! Also I remember dipping those wire flowers at day camp in the summer. Fun!!

  7. Hi Peter. As another boy from the bronx (who sews), I was surprised to learn that we're only a year apart in age and just an inch in height!. Love the blog!
