Mustard lovers REJOICE: My new fall togs are LIVE!

Friends, to be honest, I've always preferred ketchup to mustard.  But not anymore!

My latest outfit -- mustard pants, black and white gingham shirt, and gray sweater vest -- is live today at Mood, in all its glory.  See it by simply clicking here.

You'll also catch me in my new hat, which fortuitously, works perfectly with this ensemble, and astride a bicycle!  (Gotta keep things fresh.)   Hope you like it.

Have a great day, everybody!

  1. I rarely gravitate to yellow, but this shade is nice. My daughter looks so beautiful in this color, and the more I saw it on her I started looking at this color in clothing in a different way.Paired with black it really comes to life. I looks great on you!

  2. The color combination really works, and I'm always envious and admiring of your attention to detail. The check matching on the placket (I popped on over to the Mood website) is fantastic. Beautiful!!

  3. Umm, I am seriously in love with this combo. I want to make a girly version now.
Did you hem your pants, or are those sneaky little pins I'm seeing? :)

    1. Pins. I can't hem them till I wash/dry them again. Good eyes!

    2. I need to start doing that. I usually just make my jeans really, really long so that they end up being the right(ish) length after a few washes. But to be honest, I don't know if I have the patience to wait to hem. I always just want to wear new pants right away.

  7. I normally look completely washed-out in that colour, like I have jaundice or something but you completely pulled it off! The whole look works really well, it's classy, trendy and above all it gave me reason to believe that all hope is not lost to make mustard work!

  8. Looks great and so well done!
This has also been a learning experience for me.
I now have a better appreciation for how women feel when they see something nice but know it would never work for them.
At my size I'd look fairly silly...but it sure works for you :-)

  9. Fabulous outfit (in one of my favourite colour combos).

I know it's impolite to share your dreams but I can't help it on this occasion: the night before last I dreamt I was at a dry cleaner that had nothing but mustard pants hanging, folded and draped all over the place :)

    Spud.

  10. I think this is one of my very favourite outfits you've created, Peter. The hat is awesome - very 'Newsboys.'

  13. I love it. Are the pants meant to be short? You look really great in these colors. I love the color mustard.
