The flowery trousers could be a teeny bit *too* wild for where you're going (but I love them), could you use that pattern to make yourself some slightly more understated ones? Definitely don't try to make a new jacket - way too much work for the time frame but maybe you could alter the fit of the one you have to make it less boxy? Do you want to stand out as the amazing person that all your blog followers know you to be? Or is it to see all your classmates and snicker to yourself how fat and awful they all look? Please don't wear the suit and tie. If you have the jacket, then please wear it with the pants. It's still a suit, technically speaking. Like everyone has said, be yourself, be proud of your work. You wouldn't wear a stuffy suit to a social occasion, I'm sure, so don't wear one to this reunion. I'm facing a 30 year reunion shortly, so I'll be coming to you for advice! Hope it goes well.Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11274649006496918800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1991166428290808171.post-19056065865662007302010-09-21T18:08:30.600-04:002010-09-21T18:08:30.600-04:00I'm sorry... I was a travel agent so I know it's flashy but so are those flowered pants. Didn't you make a jacket with those pants and wear it somewhere once before?
So my two cents worth (even tho we don't have two cent pieces anymore) is Flowered suit if you still have it... or flowered pants, western shirt (white is so blah) and the dark jacket. You will be comfortable and you will be surprised how bad people look when you go.
All heads will turn ... make a statement... be proud... how many people would have made their own outfits let alone a bloke ('man' in Ozzie speak!) The people who are different, who stand out, who are successful (not in a financial sense), who say they are happy with who they are will be there in flowered pants and jacket. Show them who you are and hand out your cards with your blog on it!!!

I have been to a 25 year reunion at a public school and most were fat (ok, nothing wrong with a bit of roundness, but we are talking obese), old, wrinkled and wayyyyyyyyy tooooooo muuuuuuch make up!

Enjoy... be yourself... you are fabulous!Sofie www.sewdarntired.blogger.comhttp://www.sewdarntired.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1991166428290808171.post-54052096981761923462010-09-21T17:58:57.841-04:002010-09-21T17:58:57.841-04:00I'm commenting as a Canadian, because I'm ...I'm commenting as a Canadian, because I'm in Nova Scotia at the moment.
