I do that all the time. Just make sure you pull the front through the neck hole and not the arm holes. First attach both yokes to the back, and do your normal burrito trick. It's a bit finicky with all that fabric in between the two yokes, but if you roll up the back well enough, that should not be an issue. I don't think I've done a yoke any other way for years (until my current project, but that has a single back yoke).
Wouterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10545612081356477445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1991166428290808171.post-2834819325537813012019-05-20T10:52:37.046-04:002019-05-20T10:52:37.046-04:00Good question. Sew the back long seam and then sew as much as you can of the front seams going in from the armscye then from the staystitched neckline. That will give you enough attachment to then press the seamline in place. Topstitching or edgestitching keeps everything in place.
Shari in OregonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1991166428290808171.post-83836910977237558122019-05-19T19:39:34.241-04:002019-05-19T19:39:34.241-04:00Have you even thought of doing a sew-along?
