Listen to My (Free) THREADS Podcast!
I think you already know that I currently contribute online content to Threads Magazine as their first "Digital Ambassador."
I get to write articles on topics I'm passionate about like vintage sewing machines, vintage patterns, and men's shirt construction. You do have to be a "Threads Insider" to access it. (You can sign up for a trial membership here.)
Free, however, is the most recent "Sewing With Threads" podcast, in which the special guest is...me!
You can listen at your convenience by scrolling down to the bottom of this page and hitting "Play."
You may or may not agree with everything I say, but that's the fun of these kinds of things, isn't it? Threads definitely welcomes feedback and questions and so do I.
Do have a listen!
Happy sewing, everybody!
i can't find where to scroll down spot to listen... maybe i'm till too warm from being outside in the heat... I'll look again!
ReplyDeleteNancy, it's immediately below a photo of us sitting at a round table with microphones.
DeleteI can’t find it either Nancy. I’m viewing on an iPad. Wonder if that makes a difference?

ReplyDeleteGreat podcast.
ReplyDeleteI simply loved your podcast. I've been reading your blog for years and it was nice to hear your speaking voice. Well done, Peter. Karen
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen!
DeleteI was listening to your podcast and nodding along to all your wise words on fabric and fit while grading the latest pattern for my website. Which just happens to be my Intrepid Boiler Suit and sounds like it might be just what you're looking for? I made my original to wear whilst clearing a path through the rainforest of hurrican torn Dominica but it has been equally useful for some slash and burn in my back garden in Islington London and generally a great garment to wear about the place. If you'd like to try it - with my compliments of course do get in touch.
ReplyDeleteLoving all your recent posts. Life is dull without your latest makes.
ReplyDeleteGoing to listen to podcast.
Carved out time to listen to your podcast, and great thanks to Threads for this chance to listen and smile and laugh out loud. The Adult Onesie. Thank you so much, my dear. I am so glad you found sewing.
ReplyDeleteListened yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially your frugal approach to what can be a very expensive hobby.
ReplyDeleteLoved listening to you talk ♥️♥️♥️ I love vintage patterns and vintage machines. Great great discussion!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Judith!
