I hope that by now your Mom is doing well & in good hands. I mean, besides yours :). As caregiver for my Mom (who recovered from a hip replacement several years ago....it takes time when you're older!) I'll just say this - appreciate the blessings of having a good relationship with your Mother; it's a very, very precious one :)

My FIL just had a hip replacement. I was amazed that he was up and walking the first day and out of the hospital by the second.
